Antique Cultipacker – Monochromia

Posted on August 7, 2022 by Lucas Ayala

Antique Dunham Cultipacker
Antique Dunham Cultipacker

This antique cultipacker was likely attached to the back of a seed drill, and pulled through rural Guilford County, North Carolina crop fields. After the seed is inserted into freshly plowed fields, the cultipacker immediately firms up the soil and creates rows to help retain water.

See additional antique farm equipment and structures in my Abandoned Architecture gallery.

Cheers!
