The mountaintop is cloaked in a thick cloud of mystery and wonder to start this Thursday. Although we went to sleep seeing stars and bright city lights yesterday, overnight the intermittent rain showers and lightning displays weaved their way in and out of the Smokies. The wind picked up as well, and gusts upwards of 35mph are expected today. The clouds are likely to stick to us with the chances for more intermittent showers possible throughout the day. Who knows, maybe we’ll catch glimpses of some sun in between. Temps will remain mild, spending much of the time in the 50s today. Looks like by tomorrow conditions will improve for a sunny and beautiful Friday.
Have a great day.
