Yesterday was a wet and windy Tuesday, but the scene we’re waking up to this Wednesday is far calmer and prettier. The weather made conditions chilly all day yesterday, and the warm cabins and hot coco sure hit the spot after a haul up the trail. The mountain received an inch of rainfall during the day, which should work wonders at dousing some of the pesky fires around the region. Today visitors will be treated to sunny skies and much warmer temps. In fact we might tap 60° this afternoon. Winds will still be present, gusting as much as 35mph at times. Around dinner time, the next round of rain and storms is expected to move in. So don’t get fooled into thinking you won’t need a wind breaker or waterproof shell today and tomorrow.
Have a great day.
