The skies above are clear to start this Tuesday, with a soothing gradient of oranges and yellows lining the horizon. But it doesn’t appear as though it will last. The winds picked up during the night, and we have a Wind Advisory in effect from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM today. Gusts could jump as high as 50mph at times. The rain will also move into the area around noon today making conditions sloppier. Guests with reservations would be wise to hit the trail as early as possible today to get as many miles behind them before the weather sours. Temps will range from the 40s to 50s today, although the breezes will shave off any of that warm feeling, especially once we lose the sunshine. Come Wednesday night, another round of rain showers is expected, and with it a sharp decline in temperatures. Bring those warm and waterproof layers this week!
Have a great day.
