Good Afternoon,
A gorgeous sunrise has teed up a superb spring Saturday in the Smokies. As expected, the crowds are flocking to the forest, and many are tip-toeing their way up the slopes of Mt. LeConte. Our high temps this weekend will be into the 40s splitting overnight lows near freezing. But with all this sunshine, it might feel warm enough to knock the edge off of any breeze. There is some cloud-building that will occur this evening with gusty winds, but by the time Sunday gets into full swing we’ll
have another splendid sunny day on our hands. The remaining patches of ice, of which there are very few towards the tippy-top, are sure to disappear today.
Have a great rest of the day.
