Hikers were spoiled with sunny skies on Tuesday, but not even the clouds that sat on the summit throughout the afternoon could thwart what turned out to be a beautiful day. Although the clouds are much thicker this morning and unlikely to afford us much in the way of blue above, there remains only a slight chance of rain showers late this afternoon. The same can be expected for tomorrow, and it’s not until Friday that more significant possibilities for storms enter the equation. Temps feel delightfully cool this morning in the low 50s, but we should rise into the mid 60s by midday. Winds will be light over the crest while the humidity is its usual damp and sticky self. Hopefully in a couple weeks that bit becomes less prevalent and hikers will have an easier go of staying dry while on trail even when it’s not raining.
Have a great day.
