Twinkling city lights below and sparkling stars with half moon above are slowly yielding the early hours to the soothing sunrise. We have a beautiful Tuesday lined up for the mountain to start, but as we get into the afternoon, clouds are expected to build. By supper time (which reminder for guests is now at 5:45 PM), there is a slight chance of rain showers and storms. It seems like quite a while has passed since our last bout with some precip. The possibility for sloppy weather persists through Wednesday. Temps will feel splendid once again today, creeping into the lower 60s for a high. A light breeze and lows near the 40s will unmistakably help conditions feel like fall. The available daylight is waning quickly with each passing day. The mountain is at twelve hours of visible sunshine now, so folks arriving at trailheads sooner than 7:30 AM can count on taking those first footsteps with the aid of a headlamp.
Have a great day.
