There might be some patchy fog creeping around at various elevations as the sun rises this Sunday, but it should dissipate without much of a fuss once the skies turn bright. Speaking of bright skies, a few storms rolled into town late last night lighting up the heavens with a steady flourish of flashes and bombastic booms. So don’t be surprised to encounter slightly soaked trails when starting up the trail this morning. The forecast is calling for mostly sunshine today coupled with more of that southern heat and humidity. Once again, there is a slight chance for showers and storms to show up unannounced later this afternoon. Temps should tap the 70s and winds will be light. For Monday, the precip chances increase a good bit, so count on needing the rain gear at some point.
Have a great end to the week.
