It’s so hot this week, one could probably fry an egg on the rocks at Myrtle Point. Okay, maybe it isn’t that toasty this high up, but it certainly feels like it down below. Plus eggs are pricey these days and our llamas work plenty hard to bring them up here for our guests. Clouds and haze will fill the majority of the sky today over the mountains with occasional glimpses of sunshine. Later this afternoon there is a chance for some storm building, so keep an ear out for some distant rumbles and have the rain shells ready. Temps will continue to hang out in the 60s and 70s accompanied by light winds. Friday appears to have a much higher rain chance, and with it an introduction to some cooler temps leading into the weekend. It might feel downright chilly up here if our high temps don’t escape the 50s for a couple days. Conditions on trail should feel great this weekend though, as abundant sunshine is expected. By next week, heat wave number two is on deck.
Have a great day.
