A superb Saturday has rolled right into a stunning Sunday. Visitors to the mountain should enjoy sunny skies and some more cool temps like yesterday, reaching the low 60s this afternoon. There is the tiniest of chances for some rain late this evening, but not worth enough attention to shake a stick at. Winds will be light and out of the north, hence the faint chill in the air for this time of year. The mountain was covered up in hikers hailing from far and wide yesterday, and we expect more of the same today with such delightful conditions. The wildlife seem to be enjoying it as well…deer are grazing, squirrels are being mischievous, and the numerous birds are singing. Life continues to thrive atop Mt. LeConte.
Have a great end to the week.
